Cal Young Park - 18 holes with concrete tee pads
In the early 90’s, the West Texas Disc Twisters began to develop what would become Abilene’s first disc golf course. The first targets were “tone poles” and eventually those were replaced with pole holes. Concrete tee pads were added in 2002. Tee signs were added in 2009.
The course is flat and mostly open with a winding park round that comes into play on several holes. There is also a creek on the west side of the course that comes into play on 4 holes. There are restrooms, a covered pavilion, a playground, a practice basket, a course over-view sign, information sign, tee signs on each hole, and usually score cards in a mail box next to Hole #1.

Will Hair Park - 18 holes each with short and long concrete tee pads
Cedar Creek meanders through Will Hair Park and comes into play on several holes. Course offers a good mix of open holes, tunnel shots, mild elevation, and mando shots. In 2012, members of the ADGA began a project to add additional holes to the south end of the course. These additional holes will play along and over the creek, through dense trees and brush. In the fall of 2013, several members donated baskets to add five holes to the newly expanded south end of the course. The plan is to someday make Will Hair an 18 hole course.

The park offers restrooms and picnic tables with grills, open play area, fishing, and swimming. The lake does not come in to play, but the cactus surely does. The course winds its way through lots of Mesquite trees and cactus. Word of advice, stay in the fairway.
